Pema Pawo - Health captain

My name is Pema Pawo and I am studying in intermediate first level. Ratna has explained what we usually do every day. So I want to write a little bit about our holidays. Saturday is our half day, which means we have class until 11:30 the same other days. And elementary learners have Tibetan text reading class at 8:00 am to 9:30am. After that they pick up some rubbish around the monastery; and they wash their own clothes. Some wash in the morning, some wash in the afternoon. Intermediate learners monks wash their clothes usually on Saturday in the afternoon and Sunday. Pema Tenzin  and I have to help the under 12 years old little monks to wash their body because we are sanitation captains; who also look after sick monks. Sunday is our full holiday but not for elementary level because they have English, Nepali and Maths classes 7:30 to 9:30 am. After all that, some monks watch movies; some plays carom, ludo, chess football and scrabble. Some little monks also play hopscotch. At last Sunday 10 pm is our end of the holiday.

Thank you! Pema Pawo
